Florida State Edge Brian Burns

Florida State EDGE Brian Burns Declares for 2019 NFL Draft

It's a great time of year for the NFL Draft. While the NFL and College football season begins to wind down, the NFL Draft season is just beginning. This time of year is known for some of the best underclassmen in the nation to begin declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Today's list includes one of the best edge rushers in the country. Florida State's Brian Burns, announced today that he will be foregoing his senior season and entering the NFL Draft which will be held in April.

Burns has been with the Florida State Seminole program for three years and has tallied 23.0 sacks over 33 games at FSU. Along with his impressive sack totals, Burns has also put up impressive tackle for loss numbers (38.5), solo tackles (71), and forced fumbles (seven). Burns is currently my top EDGE rusher heading into the home stretch of the college football season. He currently projects as a 3-4 outside linebacker with elite size/length, production, and speed.
