This is an absolutely loaded tight end class, and my early TE1 has announced that he will be forgoing his senior season and entering the 2019 NFL Draft. Fant is one of two Iowa tight ends slated to enter the NFL Draft and will be one of the first TE's selected in the Draft.
— Noah Fant (@nrfant) November 30, 2018
After exploding onto the season in 2017, Fant backed up his play in 2017 with a great 2018 campaign. In his three year career at Iowa, Fant finished with 78 receptions, 1,082 yards, and 19 touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 230-lb TE is known for his elite athleticism, who will absolutely make his living in the NFL as a receiver, and not as a blocker. Fant's athleticism, ball skills, and college production will make him a hot commodity for all tight end needy teams when April rolls around. Noah Fant is projected to go as early as the first round, and could potentially be the first tight end drafted, depending on whether a few of the other underclassmen declare or stay in school. Regardless, Fant is one whose stock will only grow this offseason due to the combine, meetings, etc.
