Alabama TE Irv Smith Declares for 2019 NFL Draft

An already loaded TE class just got another gem added to the class on Thursday night. Reports came out on Thursday Night that Alabama TE Irv Smith will be foregoing his senior season at Alabama to enter the 2019 NFL Draft. Smith will be entering the draft as one of the most productive TE's in the country in 2018.

Smith is a two year starter at the University of Alabama. In his Sophomore and Junior as a member of the Crimson Tide, Irv Smith combined for 58 receptions, 838 yards, and 10 touchdowns. Smith is a talented receiving tight end, that has also shown consistencies as a blocker in the running game. Even in a loaded tight end class, Irv Smith is in the running the be one of the first tight ends drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft.
