Strengths:

Tytus Howard is a work in progress, but a good one at that. He started 10 games for Alabama State in 2018 and is growing year on year. Great size, length, and movement to play in the NFL. He crushed it at the Combine and Senior Bowl and will be on a lot of team’s radars come the 2019 Draft.

The ability to hold players up and drive them out of the pocket is probably his best feature.

He is a big kid and will cause problems for an edge rusher in the NFL, just needs the right coaching.

Weaknesses:

Seems to take a false step to start the play and is, therefore, a step behind. Doesn’t use his hands and length as he should. Absorbs contact instead of giving it out. He has all the right features, just doesn’t use them to his advantage. I see a lot of promise in this guy and NFL teams will as well.

Howard also needs to work on his initial strike contact with his hand technique. He will get better and turn into the quality player he can be.

RT Howard #58 (white jersey) holds his man up and doesn't give him an inch.

Pro Comparison:

A very raw Zack Martin

Overall Review:

Howard could go as early as third round all the way down to seventh round or even undrafted.

A guy of this size cannot be left on the board. It just may take time for a team to turn him into a quality NFL starter.
