If the Senior Bowl was lacking any meat, they certainly just added a ton. Washington’s DT Greg Gaines has officially accepted his invitation to attend the 2019 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. An already loaded interior defensive line group will add another talented defensive tackle to the list to hopefully make himself some money down in Mobile.

Gaines is a 6-foot-2, 322-lb defensive tackle that has a successful career stuffing the run and terrorizing quarterbacks in the Pac-12. Gaines has been a four-year player for the Washington Huskies and will hope to be the next best Husky to make it in the NFL. In recent years, Washington has put players such as Danny Shelton and Vita Vea in the NFL, and Gaines hopes to follow in their footsteps. In his four years at Washington, Gaines has 9.5 sacks, 20.5 tackles for loss, and 146 total tackles. Greg Gaines isn’t a guy who will help himself at the NFL Combine, but a good week down in Mobile could certainly help his draft stock.
