Clemson EDGE Clelin Ferrell Declares for 2019 NFL Draft

Just three days after the College Football National Championship, the declarations are starting to pour out of the University of Alabama and Clemson University. Clemson’s defensive end, Clelin Ferrell announced via his Twitter account Thursday Night that he will be leaving school and entering the 2019 NFL Draft.

In his three years at Clemson, Ferrell posted 27.0 sacks (11.5 in 2018), 50.5 tackles for loss (20.0 in 2018), 166 tackles (55 in 2018), and 5 forced fumbles (3 in 2018). Ferrell will be looked at one of the top defensive end prospects in this class due to his ability to get after the quarterback, but also played well against the run. There was a chance that Ferrell was going to enter the 2018 NFL Draft last season, but decided to go back to school and help his draft stock even more with his best season as a student-athlete at Clemson University.

I talk a lot about the NFL Draft and the Dallas Cowboys. I plan on talking a lot more.
