TE Noah Fant NFL Draft Profile – Iowa

Can Noah Fant be the best TE in this year's Draft? Find out in our profile.

Noah Fant
Class Year: Junior
Height – 6’4″ Weight – 232 lbs

Combine Results:
40 Yard Dash – 4.50 seconds
Bench Press – 20 Reps (225 lbs)
Vertical Jump – 39.5 Inches
Broad Jump – 127.0 Inches
3 Cone Drill – 6.81 Seconds

What’s not to like. Fant is a polished, impressive footballer who understands routes, angles and has great hands.  He is in total control of his body and won’t be pushed around in a contest. Sturdiness at the catch point is near perfect as is his ability to know where the ball is without turning his head. He adjusts his run and catching radius with ease. For defenders, he is a nightmare to come up against. He is the readiest TE the draft will see this year.

He doesn’t lack much in his game. The only problem I can see is acceleration after the catch. He does lack a bit of power, but this won’t hurt his draft stock.

Noah Fant runs a great route, makes the catch and then fights his way for a touchdown

Overall Review:

Noah Fant first attended a school that was set to drop to division 2 before he transferred to Iowa. He has spent little time being coached by the right set up. He is naturally gifted and will go along way in the NFL.

He produced great combine numbers and will now have all 32 NFL teams looking at him. He is an exceptional talent and could be the first TE off the board at the 2019 Draft.
