Strengths:

Edwards is a very strong individual, he has gained over 50 lbs since moving from TE to OT over the last season. His natural length and strength at the position make him hard to play. Devastating hands and functional athleticism are a huge part of his game. Being a former TE, he knows plays and route running ability, so has a good idea of what plays are being run around him.

The weight gain hasn’t slowed him down but instead made him a better blocker for it.

Look for him to make an impact in the NFL.

Weaknesses:

He doesn’t set well in the line and often gets caught out by speed on his outside. Needs time to develop. He spent a season in a good O-line in Wisconsin and will benefit from that as he looks to make it in the NFL.

Overall Review:

When Edwards arrived in Wisconsin, he was a TE. The move to OT is a work in progress and NFL teams will need to work with him as he grows into the player he can be.

Expect him to go late on day two or early day three.
