Safety Marquise Blair NFL Draft Profile – Utah

Marquise Blair
Safety
Utah
Class Year: Senior
Height – 6’2″ Weight – 195 lbs
Twitter: @Legit_King1

Strengths:

Blair comes from the old-school as a Safety player. Don’t get caught up in the showmanship, let your football do the talking. He is competitive, has size and knows how to disrupt patterns. His man coverage is awesome, he is quick and has awareness with the plays happening around him. He has played in blitz, slot or physically one v one.

Weaknesses:

Instinct is hard to teach. It’s not something you can learn on the fly. Blair lacks a little when in a tough situation. He can get too deep at times when in coverage. Can finds himself out of position sometimes.

Marquise Blair never lets up on the man with the ball.

Pro Comparison:

Jamal Adams

Overall Review:

He needs to gain some muscle to be a force in the NFL. Size is a factor in the big leagues. Senior Bowl was great, his Combine work will tell a lot about the player he is.
