USC
Class Year: Senior
DOB – 2/25/1997
Height – 6’4″ Weight – 295 lbs

Strengths:

Edoga has great speed of the line and his length and extensions are near perfect. He moves his feet well and rarely overextends. His football IQ is incredible, he reads what is going on around him very well and trusts his teammates to make the right call. Hip mobility and foot speed are great, as is his movement when playing in space.

Weaknesses:

His functional strength is poor, not very technical and lacks core power. He has an average anchor and will struggle in the NFL with his size.

Giphy:

Chuma Edoga (white shirt) holds his opponent up well.

Pro Comparison:

A softer version of Jack Conklin

Overall Review:

Edoga seems like a good player on paper, some of his tape is even good, but he isn’t a complete talent like a lot of the other draft prospects in his position. He needs to develop better and could slip a fair way down the draft order due to this. Anyone who takes him on will need to work with him to make him an NFL starter.
