Strengths:

There is a lot to like about LSU linebacker Devin White. He has continued to improve year-on-year in College and will leave as a Junior with a very high NFL ceiling.  In 2018 he had 123 total tackles with three sacks and three forced fumbles. He is an explosive LB who stalks the box and knows how to bring a man to the ground. He drops his hips well and is always ready for what comes towards him. He has short-area quickness, is an imposing figure and is a violent tackler. Not much gets passed him.

Weaknesses:

He can have a slight delay in reacting to what is around him, but his main problem is balance when tackling. He needs to work on this during the offseason before the NFL kicks off.

Overall Review:

White is almost the complete package. There are a lot of quality defensive players in this year’s draft but expect White to be amongst the standouts. He has a very promising career ahead of him.
