Saunders is the hungriest man on the park, not because he is big, but because he loves getting after the QB. For a man of his size, he has great athleticism, speed, and agility. He is often seen on the line changing how the defense lines up and has a great footballing brain. He moves well in his hips and can easily dispose of his opponent to get into the secondary. His toughness and drive will see him progress well into the NFL.
He isn’t perfect, but he is close. He needs to work on his hand usage when blocking and his ability to anchor himself. These are certainly not issues to be concerned about. He will work on these throughout his career.
Western Illinois DT Khalen Saunders can move for a big man. https://t.co/thc0Il4Cu5

Check out the athleticism on the big man.
During the 2018 season, he amassed 42 solo tackles and 30 assists for 72 total tackles, with 6.5 sacks for 38 yards loss.
Saunders is a footballer. He loves everything about the game and is dedicated to the cause. He would be a valuable asset to any NFL team. He received a Senior Bowl invite earlier this year, his girlfriend was due to give birth and he stayed to play the game instead of being there for the birth of his child. Not many players would do that. Saunders knows the importance of putting in a good show. This guy can not be overlooked.
